It is with deepest regret that we inform you of the passing of Máirín Concannon, who was a well-known sean-nós singer and who was an active member in Cumann na Gaeilge i mBoston for many years.

May God grant her eternal peace and may Mrs. Concannon always be remembered for her great singing and her personal efforts on behalf of the language. She contributed her talent by recording a CD titled Bóithrín na Smaointe to be used in a fundraising campaign on behalf of the Fr. Seán Sweeney Scholarship Fund.

We at Cumann na Gaeilge express our deepest condolences to her family. Go ndéanfaidh Dia trócaire ar a h-anam dílis.
